van Gogh temporarily in Hermitage

The Van Gogh Museum has temporarily moved to the Hermitage, due to renovation. From September 29, 2012 to April 25, 2013  a total of 75 paintings, letters and objects will be exhibited in the beautiful Hermitage at Amstel river. Hermitage writes that the exhibition concentrates on being “a personal quest into the heart of his artistic identity”. We’ll believe them. For visitors who think the Hermitage is difficult to find: use the handy Van Gogh Mile app to walk from the van Gogh Museum to the Hermitage, escorted by a red rope hanging above the street….. True.
