the Hopper, a new way of transport in Amsterdam

Photo: by ANP

As of today there’s an alternative for bus, tram and taxi in Amsterdam: the Hopper.
It’s a green electric scooter (with driver) that takes you to your destination for € 2,50.
Pros: cheap, fast and sustainable.
Cons: no protection against rain and cold (but it isn’t that warm and cosy on the bus/tram-stop either, so…)
At the moment the Hopper is only available in certain parts of town: Centre and South.

Hoppers run from 8.00 to 20.00 hours

How to get a Hopper?
Stop one on the street
Call 0900-8890
Use the app (not yet in use)
