Move over Louvre, finally on April 13 the Rijksmuseum will re-open. Its masterpiece Rembrandt’s “Nachtwacht” is already hanging at the end of Rijksmuseum’s main Gallery (did you know that the museum was actually designed in 1885 for the painting?). You’d better buy tickets in advance, because people from all over the world will visit the museum. We assure you that you won’t be disappointed; collections have been renewed, exhibits re-designed and all this in a new grand architecture by Cruz & Ortiz. We’ve waited 10 years for this to happen.
